It's "Mike", not "Corky"

Mike C. won Day 1 of Super Bowl VII on Friday night, topping a field of 10 players in a $75 buy-in tournament that lasted exactly six hours.

Corky takes home $350 for first place, and has taken over King of Donkeytown and is the new 2011-12 money leader, both by a wide margin.

Bob T. took 2nd place for $215, while Dave T. and Dave C. took home 3rd and 4th for $125 and $60, respectively.  Jeremy won the high hand contest with AAA44 for $30.

Day 2 is scheduled for tonight at Darren's house.  The winner from each night will play heads-up at a later date for approximately $100.

Congratulations to Mike and all the winners!

  1. Great game, skillful play, and some upsets (I don't remember seeing so many solid starting hands get shanked).
